This year Ross Anna is offering 9 weeks of Sewing Kamps.
Each Kamp offers a new sewing challenge.
Each Kamp is 4 days:
Monday through Thursday, 3 and a half hours a day.
The last week of June is the Intro to Machine and Basic Sewing Skills Kamp.
If you don’t know how to sew or use a sewing machine, sign up for this Kamp, and
if you haven’t sewn anything recently its always a good idea to brush up.
Projects are pictured below.

Kamp 1 - Sewing for Beginners
Monday - Thursday, June 27 - 30
9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
This kamp is an intro to sewing.
You will learn how to thread a sewing machine, wind a bobbin, sew a straight line and zigzag an edge. The projects offered are a thread catcher, sewing organizer, and scissor holder. This camp is recommended as a starting point to prepare students for other camps.
Supplies: 4 coordinating fat quarters, ¾ yard fusible fleece interfacing, and 1 spool Guiterman neutral color thread.
All skill levels welcome.

Kamp 2 - Simplicity Pattern #S9393 Girls Top
Monday - Thursday, July 11- 14
9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Choose to make your a crop top or a tunic top.
Sign up for the afternoon and make pants and purse to go with your top.
Supplies: Measure chest and use body measurements on pattern envelope to determine fabric yardage.
You will also need
Guiterman thread to match the background color of your fabric, and 1 3/4 yards of 3/8 wide elastic.

Kamp 3 - Simplicity Pattern #S9393 Pants/Shorts & Accessories
Monday - Thursday, July 11 - 14
1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Choose pull on pants or shorts, envelope purse and headband.
Supplies: Measure hip and use body measurements on pattern envelope to determine fabric yardage.
You will also need
Guiterman thread to match the background color of your fabric, 7/8 yards of 1” wide elastic, and ¼ yard of 9ll interfacing.
